Several years back freelance writing opportunities were available for work-at-home entrepreneurs however to participate or be allowed to publish articles, most sites charged a fee to sign on. These days online writing communities, social blogging sites, etc. have popped up everywhere. A word of caution: Many of these sites disappear almost as quickly as they appeared. But some enjoy a good online reputation, offer revenue-share plans and an opportunity to create a residual income stream, and have grown in its community of contributors. Best of all they are FREE TO JOIN!

Scoop.it is a content curation tool which enables individuals, institutions, businesses, etc. to quickly find and share information relevant to them. Content can be easily published and circulated; online visibility is improved, and blogs or websites is enhanced. These are just a few of the benefits of “scooping”. Cmoneyspinner's Home Business Projects curates three topics using this tool.

Some may consider the unemployment trend and statistics a blessing in disguise. Why? Because when many experienced and skilled laborers and professionals found themselves with no means of support for themselves or their families, they decided that starting their own home-based businesses was the best way to generate that lost income.
Working from home is not for everyone, but if you are one of those who (like Indiana Jones in “The Last Crusade”) took that terrifying first step off the precipice and realized you were standing on solid ground, then there’s probably no need to tell you what you’ve already learned. However, for those who still have not mustered up the courage and they just need some pointers to get started, stay motivated, and run a profitable home-based business, this article recommends an excellent business resource.
Sonia Yvette Colón is a successful home business entrepreneur, based in Orlando, Florida; and the publisher of My Fashion E-Mall Blog . This savvy Latina mom has 25+ years of experience and for almost a decade she has been sharing her knowledge of Internet marketing tips and other practical business advice so that others can succeed in building and maintaining a home-based business. She has contributed articles to sites such as: SelfGrowth.com, The Hispanic Post, and EzineArticles.com. Her website offers lots of biz resources including free video tutorials that teach you how to better utilize social network platforms like Twitter and Pinterest. (NOTE: The video tutorials at the site are also available at her YouTube channel.)
- Did you know that you could monetize your tweets?
- Did you know that you could schedule your pins for posting to Pinterest instead of adding them manually one by one?
That’s two great tips! You’ve just developed a stream of supplemental income and figured out a way to better manage your time. You don’t even need to start a business to do either one of those. Trust me. There’s lots more sound and practical business advice where that came from. When you visit Sonia’s website be sure to request your copy of her free eBook: Powerful Biz Marketing & Successful Internet Marketing Tips.
Who doesn’t love a great quote? Quotes are like mini pep rallies!
